Step 1: Get Access

 

1. Create IBM ID

a) If you don’t already have one, create a separate IBM ID for each individual who will have access to the IBM Digital Twin Exchange under your company account. Link

2. Create an account on the IBM Digital Twin Exchange 

a) Go to digitaltwinexchange.ibm.com 

b) Enter Digit@lTwin01, the site password, when prompted (this password step will be removed when the offering becomes Generally Available)

c) In the upper righthand corner there is an icon of a user.  Click or hover and choose “Login”

e) Voila! You are in

 3. Notify us

a) Notify us at ibmdtwin@us.ibm.com after you’ve created an account. We will then grant you admin rights, which would allow you to upload digital twin content

 

Step 2: Begin populating your digital twin content

 

1. Review tutorial resources 

 a) Review bulk upload instruction, sample file, and demo videos here

2. Add products one at a time or in bulk. To add a single product: 

a) Click on “Admin” on the left side panel> click or hover and choose “Products”  

 

 b) Click on “Add New” on the upper right corner

 

 c) Fill out the form with appropriate product name, descriptions, categories, tags 

 

 d) Click on “Submit” on the bottom of the page 

 

3. To add products in bulk  

a) Click on “Admin” on the left side panel > click or hover and choose “Media”  

 

b) Click on “Bulk add”  

 

c) Upload images for all of your products. We recommend that you name each image file using each product’s unique identifier for consistency 

d) Click on “Admin” on the left side panel > click or hover and choose “Products”

e) Click on “Products Import” on the upper right corner

 

 f) Upload CSV file  

g)  Go into each product created to add downloadable files                                       

 

Step 3: Set up your store

2. Manage profile setting

a) Click on “Admin” on the left side panel > expand “Settings” > click on “Profile”
